28.09.07 New Comments System and the Message Boards
We will be upgrading our comments system for all TMB members within the next two weeks. The new comments system will allow all users to make comments directly on profiles and also allow profile users to edit there own comments page.



In regards to the message boards, due to the large volume of spam and general abuse that this kind of message board is vulnerable to, its relevant to the site has become almost obsolete. We hope that the new comments system will be a far better tool and are considering removing the message board completely when the new comments system is introduced. We invite your feedback and comments.

5.09.07 Onwards and Upwards
Congratulations to all our members we are just 15 months old and already have just under 5,000 members. This first period has been good but we know we can make the future better! With all the feed back from our members and the development of web technology in general. We are starting the next major phase since launching the site.
Look out for just some of the developments currently on the boards i.e.. A totally revised message board system with integration of the comments facilities, Fav’s and friends lists, advancements in the email systems and many more innovations.

5 Months Old
A massive thankyou to all our members, we are now just five months old and already have over 2,700 active members. Congratulations to all involved and thankyou for making TMB what it is today and we look forward to growing with you in the future.

Official TMB Launch Date Set
After 3 years of research and development by the TMB team working alongside some of the Worlds most seasoned industry professionals, thousands of new models and profesional and amateur photographers, the Model Book website is finally complete. And, The Model Book's official launch date is upon us. 14th June 2006 will see the launch of a fully tested site - a market leader in technical innovation and user-friendly interface. We anticipate the dawning of a new era within the photographic and marketing industry and hope that you enjoy the ride with us as we revolutionize the field in which the industry operates.

TMB Goes Live On The Test Server
As from 8 th May 2006, TMB goes live on the test server. We welcome and thank our test members in helping us to ensure that the TMB website is as easy to use and trouble free as we have strived to make it. From now, and during the lead up to the official launch, we will be ironing out and making any necessary changes. Therefore, all criticisms and comments are welcome and appreciated (which should be made via the contact page). Always remember our company philosophy, "The model Book is run by its members for its members". So, lets make this a great place to work.

Practical Photography Magazine Competition
TMB is pleased to announce that, in association with Practical Photography Magazine, we are sponsoring a competition for Practical Photography readers. The prize is a day's tuition on a fashion shoot with top fashion photographer David Lam and his team of industry leaders. The shoot will be held in one of David Lam's London studios guesting a fashion model from one of the Worlds leading agencies. The competiton runs from June until September 2006. Best of luck to all entrants. This competition offers a great opportunity to the winner, whose shots from the shoot will be published in Practical Photography.

TMB First 20,000 Members
Building our community is important to us, that is why we are offering our first 20,000 members (including photographers and non model members) a completely free first years subscription. TMB sets out to be the worlds leading industry tool for models photographers and others working within the industry. In the first year we will rapidly recruit industry professionals to ensure that all members get the best possible exposure with a network of members that are just an email away.
