Organizing A Shoot?

Article Submitted By: The TMB TEAM It is often the photographer’s role to organize a shoot. Organizing a shoot can be a complex task. There are many factors that need to be considered. Where? When? Why? Who for? Who’s getting paid what and who is responsible for what? Everybody involved needs to be aware of what they are expected to contribute and what their Responsibilities on the shoot will be. Above all, make sure everything is agreed in writing by all involved. This is the only way of proving exactly who agreed to do what prior to the shoot in case of any later disagreements.

The Model Book provides portfolio-hosting services for its members. The contents of portfolios are the sole responsibility of the member. Any images being used without the permission of the copyright holder will be removed. Unsuitable material will be removed at the discretion of the TMB team and could result in the permanent removal of a member from the site. Please report any misuse of the TMB site to the TMB team.
