Article Submitted By: The TMB TEAM Location First of all you need to locate a place that offers what you need, you then need permission to use thelocation. A location will always have a feel of authenticity over any studio replica. Locations are more indusive to spontaneity and exploration within a shoot. You need to consider the accessibility to the location for all involved. You need to consider if there are places for models to change and have hair and makeup done. If it's a public location you may cause a source of interest for passers by, this can hamper your shoot and inhibit the model. Security of your and the teams equipment and possessions needs to be considered. Is it two hot or too cold for the models, will the weather hold?, Will there be enough light? Is there access to electric power points for equipment?

The Model Book provides portfolio-hosting services for its members. The contents of portfolios are the sole responsibility of the member. Any images being used without the permission of the copyright holder will be removed. Unsuitable material will be removed at the discretion of the TMB team and could result in the permanent removal of a member from the site. Please report any misuse of the TMB site to the TMB team.
