What Is TFP Or TFCD
Article Submitted By: The TMB TEAM
TFP (Time For Print) is a term for a common practice in the photographic industry where work is exchanged for photographic prints rather than money. Whether it is a model, stylist or makeup artist, service is offered on a shoot in return for prints.

TFCD (Time For CD) is the same as TFP but images are supplied on CD rather than prints. This is preferred if all the shots are required instead of just a few of the favoured images.

Test This term tests refers a situation similar to TFP and TFCD, but is often used when a photographer already has a brief or concept to work to. By using Test shoots a photographer can test the location, sets lighting etc. for a pre-commissioned job. .
