How Do I Get Castings ?

Article Submitted By: The TMB TEAM Clients, photographers or art directors may wish to hold a casting to meet models face to face before assigning them work, particularly for larger scale jobs. Clients will create a short list of models to meet and will source this list by scouring agencies and contacts. The client will often have an exact idea of what they want and will search extensively to find the right model. The best way to get castings is to make sure that clients know you exist. That is why we stress the importance of keeping your TMB profile up to date and emailing clients with a well researched email expressing your desire to work with them. Also, if you consider the job to really be worth chasing, make it apparent that you are more than willing to travel to meet the client. As your career progresses and your reputation extends castings and job offers should start to find you.
